This in-depth program is for individuals and groups who want to take their knowledge and skills to the next level in terms of trans identity and how to build congregations that are fully inclusive and affirming of the full breadth of gender diversity.

Responding to the Anti-Trans Movement: A Course for Unitarian Universalists

This on-demand three-session course offers an introduction to gender diversity and trans identity and equips you to respond to the current political attack on trans people.

Content includes trans 101, vital information to counter rampant anti-trans propaganda, and concrete actions that are needed in order for UU congregations to be spaces of safety and belonging to trans people and our families in this moment. Defend Trans Lives: Webinars for People of Faith

This webinar, offered twice (on March 25 and April 8, 2025), is geared toward pro-LGBTQ Christians (but open to any and all people of faith) and presented in partnership with Enfleshed, Soulforce, and Queer Theology. Get up-to-date information on the attack on trans people in the U.S., become more familiar with the experiences and realities of trans people, and learn how to advocate for trans rights and ensure that your church is a welcoming and safe space for trans people and our families in this moment.


 

Build Trans Justice & Safety for Unitarian Universalists

This recording of a webinar held in fall 2024 in partnership with Side With Love, the Unitarian Universalist Service Committee, and Pink Haven Coalition is designed to equip Unitarian Universalists to understand the current politically motivated attacks on transgender people, gain tools to advocate for trans rights, and help ensure that their congregations are welcoming and safe spaces for trans/nonbinary people and our families in this moment.
